MY GOLD PROJECT
My Inspiration
This project, inspired by my time spent with children and adults with special needs, serves as my Girl Scout Gold Project. I teamed up with other students and adults at Lake Travis High School in order to build and grow a garden. The purpose of this garden is to teach the Life Skills students at Lake Travis High School about sustainable living, gardening, and other useful skills.

After constructing and weeding the somewhat pre-existing garden, I created educational pamphlets to teach life skills students important information on plant growth and gardening.

FINAL STEPS
After many hours of watering and nurturing, baby pumpkins grew from the ground. Myself and my team were so excited to see true results from such a project and teach others in the process. We can't wait to see what Best Buddies and the Life Skills program will do with this garden in the future!
